# Deprecated and superseded archive notes

This file prevents the full checksum inventory from being mistaken for the
current formal database-v1 DOI deposit package.

## Current DOI deposit package

Use only the files listed in `v1_deposit_file_list.tsv` and
`v1_deposit_manifest.json` for the database-v1 deposit candidate.

## Superseded archive retained for reproducibility

Machine-readable exception registry: `api/v1.1/deprecated_archive_exception_registry.json` and `downloads/deprecated_archive_exception_registry.tsv`. These files define the only allowed old-overlay filename/SHA hits in public audit scans.


The earlier overlay archive remains checksum-addressed in the full file
inventory because historical reproducibility objects may reference it. It is
not the current database-v1 overlay and must not be substituted into the DOI
deposit package.

Boundary: this note does not unlock formal v1.0, does not authorize deposition
and does not expand the database release into a disease-prediction platform.
